Sometimes it’s the smallest things that make the biggest mess! This water feature developed a sneaky leak thanks to two tiny chew holes in the rubber liner—courtesy of an unknown critter 👀
After a little detective work, our team found the culprit spots, patched them up, and got the feature flowing again! 💧✅
The rain didn’t stop our crew today! 🌧️ We were out installing fresh sod and bringing lawns to life, one roll at a time 💪
The best time to water new sod? Immediately after installation — so Mother Nature handled that for us today! ✅ Rainy days are actually great for laying sod! The natural moisture helps the roots bond with the soil and reduces transplant shock. Great job today team! 👏
🌿 Meet Our Summer Interns! 🌿 We’re excited to welcome two incredible interns to the Second Nature Landscape team this summer, Trista and Chloe!
🌱 Chloe just graduated from Mt. Vernon and is headed to Purdue this fall to study landscape architecture. She was eager to dive into the field and learn the ins and outs of plant selection, design strategy, and most importantly .. how to bring a customer’s vision to life!
🌼 Trista is heading into her second year at Ball State, where she’s also pursuing a future in landscape architecture. She joined us to get hands-on experience with horticulture and plant design, and she’s already digging into how plants grow and thrive in real-world projects.
Both of these young professionals have shown a genuine passion for the art and science of landscaping, and we’re thrilled to help them grow their skills! Here’s to the next generation of landscape leaders! Welcome to the team, ladies! 👏 .
