Hey Tri-State! 👋 With a significant winter storm on the way this weekend, all of our Second Nature crews are gearing up and ready to support our people through whatever Mother Nature brings. We’re monitoring the latest weather updates and storm models closely so we can be out when you need us most.
🌨️ What the Forecast Is Showing According to the latest from the National Weather Service and local forecast models: • A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from late Friday night through Sunday evening for the Evansville, Newburgh, and broader southern Indiana region. • Heavy snow is expected, with many areas in the Tri-State forecast to receive 6–13+ inches of accumulation over the course of the storm. • Temperatures will be very cold, and travel conditions are likely to be hazardous on untreated surfaces. • Snow may begin early Saturday, continue through Sunday, and could be accompanied by wind gusts that lead to some drifting and reduced visibility.
🚗 What This Means for You With this amount of snow possible, we want you to be safe and prepared: • Expect slick roads and limited visibility during peak snowfall. • Plan ahead and avoid non-essential travel if possible. • Keep your vehicles and homes winter-ready with emergency supplies and proper winter gear.
💪 Second Nature Is Ready Our crews are preparing equipment and routes so we can assist with snow clearing, safe access, and any help you may need through this winter event.
If you have questions or need support, please don’t hesitate to reach out 📞
